President: Carolyne Shultes
My name is Carolyne Shultes and I am a Junior Chemical Engineering Major with a Minor in Mathematics. I am the current SWE President for the FY22 year. I could not be more excited for this opportunity! I have been an active member of SWE ever since I was a freshman and I have held past roles as the Outreach Chair and Vice President. I am especially excited to continue to build a community in which Clarkson women engineers can learn and prosper as we continue our education and prepare for our professional careers. The inspiring women in this organization have been a resource to support and guide me through my experiences and endeavors. I will work everyday to ensure that Clarkson SWE members will continue to get the support that we deserve and I look forward to participating in this empowering organization for many years to come. |
Vice-President: Alyssa Juliano
My name is Alyssa Juliano and I am a freshman Engineering and Management major on the honors track with a minor in Environmental Engineering. I am the Vice President of the Society of Women Engineers. I am extremely excited about my next role and responsibilities on the Board of Directors. I have been an active member of SWE since my first semester, and I am delighted to continue building a community in which women engineers can prosper and grow. I am passionate about SWE and I look forward to helping steer the future of this empowering, positive organization for the next generation. |
Secretary: Ayden Rollins
Hello my name is Ayden Rollins, I am a Freshman Computer Engineering Major with Minors in Mathematics and Electrical Engineering. I am the current secretary of SWE and I am glad to have the amazing opportunity. I am excited to be able to better get to know the other girls in SWE and the other people on the E-Board. I can’t wait to be able to take on this responsibility and grow within my role. I joined SWE to get to know more like-minded women that I can gain connections. I am looking forward to being able to grow my communication skills and my leadership skills through this role. I'm glad that I have had the opportunity to take on this position. |
Treasurer: Holly Rossmann
My name is Holly Rossmann and I’m a Junior Computer Science major with minors in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Business. This is my third year as the SWE Treasurer, and I have loved being a part of this community! As an eBoard member, I have been given the opportunity to help out with the entirety of the society, and I thoroughly enjoy helping to host events and helping to empower women on campus. At Clarkson it is important to have women role models in your life, and there is no better way to gain lifelong friends than to collaborate with other women in STEM. SWE has been an amazing club to be a part of, and I look forward to continuing this path as I progress through my degree. |
Treasurer Apprentice: Gabriela McSwieney
Hello, my name is Gabriela McSwieney and I am a current Freshman at Clarkson University. I am majoring in Engineering & Management with a minor in Sustainable Energy Systems Engineering. I am the current Treasurer Apprentice of SWE and a swimmer on the Division III Swimming and Diving Team here at Clarkson. Something that excites me is working with the rest of the SWE Board and Council to make this a year full of fun and engaging events for all the members. I am proud and honored to be a part of such an active and involved community of independent and bright young women. Joining SWE has enabled me to connect, learn and grow with a diverse group of intelligent women. I look forward to upholding the strong and positive reputation of the organization here on campus and in the professional world. |

My name is Riley Girard, I am a Junior Mechanical Engineering major with a professional concentration in Manufacturing. I have two minors in Mathematics and Materials Engineering. I will be graduating in Spring 2023. I joined SWE in February 2021 to make new friends and connections. A year later I love being involved with SWE, I especially love attending events. I believe it is important for women to support women, especially in a field like engineering and STEM. I am so happy to be a part of SWE and I am excited for what is in store this year! |

My name is Bella Schuchardt and I am a sophomore mechanical engineering major here at Clarkson. I am currently the Outreach Chair for the society of women engineers and I couldn’t be more excited to help involve the organization in the community. Publicity Chair: Victoria Giancaspro
My name is Victoria Giancaspro and I am a junior Civil and Environmental Engineering double major with a minor in Architectural and Facilities Engineering. I am the Publicity Chair of the Society of Women Engineers. I joined SWE my freshman year to meet more women who had similar interests and ambitions to me. The friendships I have made through SWE are some of my strongest relationships and have helped me to figure out who I am and who I want to be. SWE is such an empowering group and it has really shaped me into the engineer I am today. I am so excited to be a part of the SWE board again and cannot wait for this upcoming year!! |

Hello! My name is Zalen Aqueron. I am an Engineering and Management major with a minor in Architectural and Facilities Engineering. I joined SWE to be surrounded by girls who wanted to create a system of support for fellow women in male-dominated industries. I look forward to being able to hopefully inspire girls at our university to join and contribute to this wonderful club. |
Fundraising Chair: Rosie Delwiche
My name is Rosie Delwiche and I am a junior Computer Science major with a minor in Mathematics. I am the Fundraising Chair of The Society of Women Engineers (SWE). I joined SWE my freshman year to meet new people and find a sense of community as a woman in STEM. Now over two years later, SWE has positively impacted my college experience. It has helped me find my voice, form everlasting friendships, and prosper with a group of strong, like-minded women. I look forward to better serving SWE, creating memories, and forming new bonds.

Sophomore Representative: Kim Gomez
My name is Kim Gomez. I'm a freshman mechanical engineering major, currently looking at other possible minors or concentrations that align with my sustainability aspirations. I joined SWE to be a part of a group that empowers women studying STEM at Clarkson. I think it's important that organizations such as SWE exist and are promoted to ensure that underrepresented groups are encouraged, motivated, and supported in their needs to fulfill their goals in their fields. I also love that I can make connections with other women who have similar interests and goals as I do. |

Adviser: Jan DeWaters
Jan received her BS in Chemical Engineering from UNH, her MS in Environmental Engineering from UNC-Chapel Hill, and her PhD in Environmental Science and Engineering at Clarkson University. She is an Associate Professor at Clarkson with a joint appointment in the Institute for STEM Education and the School of Engineering. In addition to teaching introductory-level courses in engineering and energy systems, she does research in engineering and STEM education with a focus on energy and the environment. She has been Clarkson SWE's faculty advisor since 2012. |
SWE Counselor: Emily McGillicudy
Emily graduated from Clarkson University in 2017 with a BS in Civil Engineering with a Construction Engineering Management concentration and a Business minor. She now works as an assistant project manager for Burns and McDonnell in Morristown, NJ. At Clarkson, Emily served as Secretary, Vice President, and President of the Clarkson University SWE section. She is now a professional member of NJ SWE where she serves as the social chair. Emily looks forward to working with the Clarkson SWE section once again and hopes to help current students and those transitioning into a professional member. |
